Senior Managing Director
The primary impetus behind launching Canterbury Capital, Bob brings a great deal of transactional and operational knowledge to Canterbury. His varied background provides a wealth of insights and experiences that he draws on as the leader of Canterbury Capital. His experience includes:
Executing approximately $1 billion in transactional value as an investment banking advisor to businesses pursuing partial or complete sales, acquisitions, and acquisition programs, as well as raising debt and equity capital. In total, he has advised on over 20 advisory assignments and a similar number of direct investments, both across a variety of industries and at all stages of a company’s life cycle;
Re-developing approximately 2,000 acres of land, most of which was environmentally impacted;
Negotiating, structuring, and managing public-private partnerships for utility services, public bond financing, tax abatements, and public grant funding;
Launched and managed various business ventures on behalf of his partners (both on a day-to-day and more strategic level).
Bob leads all transaction-related activities from acquisitions to any major capital transactions. He is instrumental in setting growth and competitive strategy post-acquisition. Day-to-day, he manages Canterbury Capital.
Bob is a graduate of the undergraduate program at St. Louis University. He has also earned an MBA and Juris Doctorate, both from Case Western Reserve University. He was the Managing Editor of the Law Review during law school.
Shawn McGraw
General Counsel
Shawn serves as outside General Counsel for Canterbury Capital, LLC. In that role, Shawn assists the business in evaluating opportunities and minimizing any associated legal risks. His responsibilities include:
Effective coordination and implementation of company acquisitions and divestitures, with particular emphasis on the post-closing phase;
Drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts in a variety of contexts to support business initiatives;
Working with personnel at the Canterbury operating companies on various Human Resource matters, including the proper handling of personnel decisions, drafting and implementation of policies, and education of employee groups through presentations on a variety of topics;
Assisting the operating companies in all aspects of risk management.
Prior to his work at Canterbury, Shawn had nearly twenty years of experience as in-house counsel, including as the Vice-President and General Counsel to a worldwide group of companies that provide products and services to commercial weatherproofing and construction markets, and whose revenues approached $1 billion during his tenure. Shawn is currently a Member at the law firm of Kaufmann, Drozdowski, & Grendell, LLC.
Ron Sorci
Director of Accounting and Finance
Ron Sorci joined Canterbury as a project consultant in November 2023 and was promoted to Director of Finance and Accounting in January 2024. He brings a wealth of experience in mergers and acquisitions, finance, accounting, venture capital, logistics, and manufacturing operations. His extensive career includes managing multiple entities in both the private and public sectors, and he has served as President, CFO, and COO.
Ron is a creative thinker and adept problem solver known for his versatile skill set. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and lives in North Carolina. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Kim Rehmer
Executive Administrator
Joining our team in 2024, Kim brought more than 20 years of experience, in which precision, organization, and adaptability are second nature. Over the years, she has worn many hats: executive assistant to a president, a/r specialist, HR support, and office manager. Each role sharpened her ability to balance details with the big picture, turning complex operations into seamless workflows.
Today, she’s our go-to for keeping schedules aligned, budgets balanced, and projects on track. Known for her knack for transforming disorder into order, she’s the steady hand behind the scenes that ensures everything runs smoothly. With her blend of professionalism, wit, and calm under pressure, Kim is not just our Executive Administrator — she’s the quiet force that keeps our team moving forward.
